Sourcing
Starting in Limoux
Limoux is a high, cool corner of the Languedoc with a long sparkling tradition and a growing reputation for precise Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It rewards attention and it does not trade on its own name, which suits us — and suits a wine that will be wearing your label rather than a famous appellation.
From there we widen out across southern France for the styles our clients ask for most: dry pale rosé, coastal whites, generous Grenache-led reds.

Independent producers
We work with small and mid-sized independent estates and cooperatives we visit in person. That means honest conversations about volume, vintage variation and price — and wines that stay consistent when you reorder.

Blank Canvas is the customer-facing brand. Whitmarsh Imports does the unglamorous work: sourcing, production coordination, labelling compliance, UK import and fulfilment. You never have to become an importer, and you never have to learn what a duty suspension arrangement is.
